Renovation of an educational facility in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Classroom Toilet Upgrades at William Woodruff Elementary. The new work generally consists of adding new single use ADA toilet at two classrooms. The contractor is responsible for new plumbing fixtures, accessories, and grab bars. Finishes to include new floor tiles, wall tiles, new ceilings and painting. Sealed bids will be received for the following contract: 1. Overall Single Prime (all of the work) C. One (1) Original and (1) copy of the Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to MR. Anthony Juskiewicz, Business Administrator and shall be identified on the outside of the package (outside of mailing package if mailed) with the following: Bid for Classroom Toilet Upgrades at the William Woodruff Elementary. Contractors must register with the site to be included on the current bidder's list, so that any and all updates (addenda, clarifications, modifications) can be provided in writing in a timely manner. Bidders may purchase documents through the site using any major credit card or Paypal. Questions regarding bidding should be directed to the Architect's office. Verona, NJ 07044 Following the conference, the Architect may send a written memorandum to all Bidders indicating any addenda and/or clarification items, if required. All technical questions, comments, and inquiries should be directed to Solutions Architecture; the last day for questions is January 17th, 2025, (5:30 pm EST). Bids shall be made on the Forms of Proposal provided and must be accompanied by bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder shall submit with its bid, a Certificate of Consent of Surety as per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25 from a Surety company stating that it will provide the bidder and all subcontractors, if successful, with a performance/payment bond in the full amount of the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. N.J.S.A. 18A:-18A-36(a). The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informality in the bidding if it is in the best interest of the Owner to do so and to award contracts only to those whose proposal is deemed by the Owner to be most advantageous to the interest of the public. Bidders and subcontractors identified in the bid must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, and possess a Business Registration Certificate.If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, all bidders shall pre-qualify as required by the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, and each bid shall be accompanied by an affidavit so certifying pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18-32. All inquiries concerning prequalification should be directed to Division of Property Management and Construction, Taxation Building, 8th Floor, West State and Willow Streets, Trenton, New Jersey 08625. Bidders shall be prequalified in Categories C008 OR C009 AND C030, C032, C047. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. concerning Public School Contracts Law.
