Questions Due Date: Jan 10th 2025, 12:00 PM CST Online Portal Comal Independent School District ("CISD") is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for primary internet connection for the District. SCOPE: The RFP seeks pricing for the primary internet connection for the District, which will be physically located at Smithson Valley High School. The district's current internet connection is 10GB, which will be replaced with a 20GB connection. This connection must be scalable to 40GB to support possible future upgrades. This agreement shall be for an initial term of one (1) year, renewable for up to four (4) additional years for a maximum total contract length of five (5) years. Installation/Service dates are to be coordinated with Comal ISD. Respondents should provide an estimated implementation schedule. Comal ISD reserves the right to modify the Scope and Specifications as circumstances require. The district intends to leverage Erate funding for this connection. Respondents must comply with all rules and regulations of the Erate program. Proposers shall view all aspects of documentation. Responding to the proposal indicates that the Proposer has performed due diligence and is proposing all components necessary for a turn-key system for each requested item. Substantial/Final Completion: Proposers shall include detailed proposed installation schedule with proposal response for evaluation by the District. Exclusion of a complete and detailed proposed installation schedule will result in point deductions in award evaluation. The Proposal is to be signed only by persons authorized to enter into a contract with Comal ISD. EVALUATION COMMITTEE: A. Proposals shall be evaluated by an Evaluation Committee, and the Evaluation Committee will make recommendations regarding ranking to the Board of Trustees. B. All information included or excluded in/from your proposal may be used to help CISD and the consultant select a vendor based on these criteria. The District reserves the right to verify the accuracy and completeness of all responses by utilizing any information available to the District without regard to whether such information appears in your proposal. A. Respondents should submit experience and qualifications as described in the RFP. Additional information may be submitted as appropriate to further describe vendor mand provide product capabilities. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and waive formalities or irregularities in the process. A proposal once submitted shall be deemed final and binding on the Proposer and shall constitute an option with Owner to enter into a contract upon the terms set forth in the proposal. All proposal prices must be valid for sixty (60) days from proposal due date
