The McCracken Fiscal Court reserves the right to award bids on the basis of lowest and best bid, to alter bid specifications, to reject any and all bids, and to re-advertise for bids. Demolish and remove from site two dugouts. b. Demolish and remove from site existing chain-link fencing and backstop. c. Install 6' galvanized chain-link fencing in outfield. Install galvanized chain-link backstop per Field 1 photo. Bottom sections ofbackstop shall be made of6-guage fence fabric. All other wire shall be 9 gauge fence fabric buried in dirt 6" with brace rail every 9'-l 0'. 10' tall fence off backstop to dugouts with top, bottom and mid rail. All fences shall have a bottom rail. Install fence top protector. d. Two 3' walk gates and 1-12' double drive gate. e. Construct two dugouts at existing dugout location. Dugouts 20' long x 8' deep x 10' tall with slanted top, bottom and mid rail. Colored tin roofwith 3' opening to dugout. f. Post will be set in drilled holes using concrete in holes. Fencing will consist of knuckle selvage to prevent injury o Bidder shall submit a valid McCracken County business license prior to executing an agreement. o Bidder shall submit a certificate of $1,000,000.00 liability insurance naming McCracken County as additionally insured. o Material and installation will be warranted for a period of one (1) year from completed installation. o Work Completion - All work must be completed by March 15th, 2025. o The McCracken County Fiscal Court is exempt from Kentucky State Sales Tax. o Proposers shall not begin any work activity until such time as a Purchase Order has been received from the McCracken County Fiscal Court. The McCracken County Fiscal Court reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or part thereof, to accept one or more items of a bid without obligation as to other items, and to waive any informalities or irregularities.
