The Scope of Work is to crush and stockpile 10,000 yards of 105 Traffic Gravel, 7,500 yards of 31 base. The crushed gravel is to be stockpiled, (in individual piles designated for the RM only, with identifiers showing gravel types) and measured by March 31, 2025. Note that a Penalty may apply if the target is not met. The successful Bidder shall be responsible for providing equipment and labour. The RM reserves the right to access samples of the crushed gravel to be tested at the cost of the RM to ensure crush meets road gravel standard. The measurement and payment of the bid term will be based on the Volume Report provided by the successful applicant, with a view to identifying the number of cubic yards. The volume report provided by the successful applicant will be an "In Place Volume" with no shrinkage. No liability shall accrue to the RM for its decision in this regard. Any bid or any part of any bid will not necessarily be accepted. The lowest bid does not necessarily constitute an award. The RM is not obligated to award a contract to any Bidder pursuant to this Request for Tender.
