The Scope of Work is to haul and spread approximately 10,000 yards of gravel to apply to the roads within the Municipality. Road graveling will begin between May 15th to June 1st with a completion date of July 31st. All loads must be weighed with scale tickets submitted to the RM on agreed upon basis. The successful Bidder shall be responsible for providing equipment and labour. A gravel pile measurement map will be required afterwards to help assist in confirming the quantity hauled. Final payment will be paid once confirmation is completed. A bid bond or certified cheque in the amount of 10% of the total bid price shall accompany each bid. No liability shall accrue to the RM for its decision in this regard. Any bid or any part of any bid will not necessarily be accepted. The lowest bid does not necessarily constitute an award. The RM is not obligated to award a contract to any Bidder pursuant to this Request for Tender.
