The project consists of demolition of existing low water crossing and approach roadway. Construction of a new clear span spread box beam bridge with approach roadway work, paving and any other incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications. Question Deadline 01/08/2025-The project is located in Section 23, Township 29N, Range 21W, Greene County, Missouri. The total length of improvements along the centerline of Farm Road 193 is approximately 428 feet. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Greene County Highway Department in writing. Questions must be received by the Greene County Highway Department at least four working days before the bid opening date. All bids shall be submitted as a hard copy. The Greene County Highway Department assumes no liability for mailed or shipped bids failing to arrive prior to the closing of bids. The Wage Rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in the bid proposal. When Federal wage rates are applicable and included, this contract is subject to the "Work Hours Act of 1962" (P.L. 87-581; 76 Stat. 357) and implementing regulations. By virtue of statutory authority, preference shall be given on other than Federal Aid Projects to materials, products, supplies, provisions, and other articles produced, manufactured, made, or grown within the State of Missouri where same are of a suitable character and can be obtained at reasonable market prices in the State, are of a quality suited to the purpose intended and can be secured without additional cost over foreign products or products of other states.
