Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Working plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The project consists of track construction of approximately 3,100 track-feet with wood ties. 2 track turnouts will also be required to be assembled onsite. Rail, ties & OTM for the full track length noted will be furnished by NSRC. Half the track length noted will be ballast complete by truck delivery; the other half of track length noted will have ballast supplied by NSRC. Approximately 2,035 Ton of ballast for construction of the track listed above is to be truck delivered to the site. Additional asphalt pavement will be required for the private roadway approaches to a private at-grade track crossing. Qualified contractors are invited to submit a Letter of Interest via email to Owner to express interest in bidding this project. This Letter of Interest should be directed to Leah Fletcher at leah.fletcher@nscorp.com and should include the legal name of the company, address, contact name, phone number and email address of who should receive the Request for Quotation.
