Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Work under this contract consists of the following .1 Remove and replace deteriorated stones at entrance stairs as shown on Drawings and specifications .2 Patch stones where able at entrance stairs as shown on Drawings and specifications .3 Remove, store and reinstall existing steel railings to facilitate stone work .4 Patch stones at north entrances and scale deterioration of water and salt damaged stones at main level. .5 Install new sealant joint between the sandstone building and additions (4 locations full height) .6 Stich cracks through lintel stones and vertical cracks through the field of the wall. .7 Scale blocks where organic growth has discolored the stones. .8 Remove existing sealant detail at top floor build out where original cracks have occurred. Install new sealant detail and repair all damaged mortar at either side of build out. .9 Repoint mortar joint at either side of build out at lower floors under the cornice. .10 Patch interior finishes (lath and plaster) where cracks on the exterior have translated to interior cracks. Cracks are located in the library, two classrooms on the 3rd floor and one office. .11 Repaint interior finishes where patches have been completed.
