Reference Number 0000371414 Job Location: 2000 North Linden Ave, Trinidad, Colorado 81082 Las Animas County is seeking qualified contractors or firms to provide design/build services for electrical improvements at the County Fairgrounds' livestock pavilion. This project aims to address electrical overload issues encountered during past County Fair events and ensure safe and reliable electrical systems to meet current and future demands. Bid Intent Not Available PROJECT OVERVIEW The Las Animas County Fairgrounds hosts numerous community and 4-H events annually. In past years, participants requested additional outlets be made available in its livestock pavilion. Some 2-plex outlets (duplex receptacle) were replaced with 4-plex (quad receptacle) which currently causes breakers to trip when 4 electrical devices (animal hair driers, 4' air circulation fans, etc.) are plugged into them. Some of the existing 2-plexs also trip. The current electrical system no longer meets the increased load demands. This project will include a comprehensive assessment, design, and installation/replacement of current 'outlets, panel, etc.' with upgraded electrical infrastructure within the livestock pavilion where necessary. It also includes the installation of eight (8) new/additional 4 plex outlets to be installed between existing outlets and/or evenly spaced in the areas where there are no existing, 4 on the east and 4 on the west walls. Install 4-plex outlets on the inside of each of the main doors (10'x12' sliding, north and south walls), 2-each, 4 total. Install LED wall pack outdoor lights with photocell on the outside of the north and south walls (same as main doors) 2 each, 4 total located such that sliding doors will not obstruct lights.
