The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified offerors to establish one or more contracts through competitive negotiations with qualified source(s) for a broad range of audio visual, multi-media and related products, services, and maintenance. The products, services, and maintenance provided may include any combination of hardware, installation, configuration, design, warranty, maintenance services, and repair. The VCCS invites any qualified offeror to respond to this RFP by submitting a proposal for such products, services, and maintenance consistent with the terms and conditions set forth herein. This procurement is being conducted on behalf of the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). The VCCS consists of 23 colleges with 40 campuses located across the state, as well as two central agencies: the System Office and Shared Services Center. Each of these VCCS entities may use any awarded contract at their option. However, they are under no obligation to do so, and there is no guarantee that any awarded contractor shall receive a request for product or services from any of the 23 colleges, the System Office or the Shared Services Center. The Virginia Community College System (VCCS) consists of 23 community colleges across the Commonwealth of Virginia. Student populations range in size from 1,000 students to 100,000 students per college. Virginia's community colleges serve an estimated 250,000 students per year total. Contract Term: Five (5) years with five (5) three-year renewals, at VCCS's sole option, or as negotiated. The Contractor should have a Class "A" Contractor's License with the appropriate specialty classification as recognized by the Virginia Board of Contractors, Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) to perform required installation services for any work attached to real property.
