The work under this IFB generally consists of, but is not limited to, the contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, materials, tools, supplies, labor, transportation, and supervision needed for snow plowing/removal and salting. The contractors will be expected to provide salt for the sidewalks and parking lots. All work must be in strict conformance with the specifications provided in the Bid Documents. The services are being requested for Nine (9) bus facilities and will be broken up into four (4) separate groups (A, B, C, and D). Each group will have designated bus facilities assigned. Potential contractors may bid on all four (4) groups or a combination thereof resulting in four (4) separate contracts. All Bidders must be prequalified by NJ TRANSIT prior to submitting a Bid The Bidders Pre-qualification Package (Attachment B) must be submitted by email to dwhitehead@njtransit.com on or before 4:00 P.M. (EST) January 30, 2025 for the Bidder to be considered as a possible Bidder. Late pre-qualification forms will not be accepted and will disqualify a vendor from contract award A Twenty Percent (20%) Category 3 SBE/DVOB goal on each group (A, B, C, and D) has been assigned to this project. Bidders are notified that a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price is required with their Bids.
