Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Maplewood, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Township of Maplewood is requesting proposals from individuals and companies to develop the design for an inclusive playground at the Maplecrest Park in Maplewood Township. The design will include all work necessary to comply with ASCE, NJDEP, NJDCA standards, "Jakes Law" (P.L. 2018, c.104) and Maplewood municipal code for playgrounds. Services shall include survey, and all required design including but not limited to accessible & inclusive playgrounds, accessible bathroom renovation, grading, construction documents, permitting and attending multiple community and progress meetings. Design Professional will also be responsible for all notice, record keeping, and reporting requirements. All Service Contractors are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-3 et seq. Affirmative Action, P.L. 1975 c. 127 N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Contract Compliance and Equal Employment Opportunities in Public Contracts), and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (Disclosure of Ownership). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
