Renovation of a multi-residential development in City of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Contract is for the following: WILKES-BARRE HOUSING AUTHORITY SOUTH VIEW MANOR HIGH-RISE ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or a Bid Bond made payable to the Wilkes-Barre Housing Authority with corporate surety in an amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the Bid as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the Contract if awarded the same. Within three (3) days following the date of execution of the Contract, the successful bidder shall deliver the Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum, and a Certificate of Insurance in the amounts specified. The agreement shall include a stipulation that Liquidated Damages will be paid in the amount of $200.00 / consecutive calendar day following the deadline date as set forth in the Owner / Contractor Agreement will be paid to the Owner. The Contract Time shall be 90 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The proposal shall be submitted in triplicate in a sealed envelope containing Bid and Bid Bond or Certified Check and shall be addressed to Wilkes-Barre Housing Authority, Attn. Judy Kosloski, Executive Director, and shall be plainly marked with the words 'WILKES-BARRE HOUSING AUTHORITY SOUTH VIEW MANOR HIGH-RISE ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT'. Wilkes-Barre Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
