Question Deadline 01/13/2025 at 12:00 AM ET Questions are submitted online No The City is issuing a two-part Request for Proposals in order to Part 1: Secure a vendor to replace the current vehicle lift system in our mechanic's garage with a new vehicle lift system. Including removal and disposal of current vehicle lift system and installation of the new vehicle lift system in our mechanic's garage providing all replacement parts, personnel, labor, tools, and materials necessary. AND/OR Part 2: Secure a vendor to complete the repair of the current vehicle lift system in our mechanic's garage providing all replacement parts, personnel, labor, tools, and materials necessary. Note: Pro The current vehicle lift is an in-ground Weaver EC106. Repairs and parts needed include but are not limited to: o Removing & Replacing both front and rear cylinders and lift assembly o Replacing rear pit due to collapse requiring saw cutting and excavation of the old concrete. o Pouring new concrete into the rear pit. Front pit is structurally sound o Replacing plumbing to each cylinder and lift mechanism o Replacing all valves and replacing hydraulic fluid o Installing new safety mechanism with latches for both cylinders The existing lift needing repair can be scheduled for visual inspection by contacting Dale Smith Jr, Lead Mechanic, at 586-445-5363 x 1615 prior to the proposal submission deadline. The City of St. Clair Shores reserves the right to accept or reject any portion of this bid and/or to divide the bid in any manner the City determines to be in its best interest. The City reserves the right to terminate the contract upon 30 days written notice due to poor performance or for any reason deemed in its best interest. All prices provided shall remain valid for 90 days.
