Bids shall be made out on the bid proposal form provided, sealed in an envelope, and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope: Bid for Phase 1 Dredge Material Disposal Pond, Barnett Reservoir, Bid #24-600-26-4. Bidder must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors establishing its classification as to the value and type of construction on which it is authorized to bid. Each Bidder must deposit with its bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor's current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award. The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: 1) mobilize equipment and personnel to the site, 2) construct disposal facility, per plans 3) install erosion control measures, 4) demobilize equipment and personnel from the site. The project is on District property in Rankin County, Mississippi. Bidders must be qualified to perform the work. Qualifications and experience shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents and provided by the Bidder, if requested by the District. The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within Thirty (30) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
