Description of Construction Project the Proposed Project Consists of the Construction of an Approximately 100,000 Square Foot Middle School to Serve Approximately 850 Students in Grades 6-8. The Project Will Be Located on Approximately 25 Acres Adjacent to Hurricane High School. The New Middle School Facility Will Include a Two-story Classroom Building, Full-size Gymnasium and Auxiliary Gymnasium, 1,200-seat Auditorium, Steam/media Area, and a Kitchen and Cafeteria, and Associated Administrative and Student Support Spaces. The Site Will Accommodate Staff and Visitor Parking, a Separate Bus Loop and Parent Pick Up Loop, and Event Parking. There Will Be an Outdoor Learning Area and a Practice Field. Approximately 86 Service and Professional Employees Will Work in the New School. The Anticipated Completion Date is August 2028. Any Other Qualifications Deemed by the Evaluation Committee to Be Consistent With the Nature, Scope and Needs of the Proposed Construction Project Including, but Not Limited to, Knowledge of the Local Area and Working Relationships With Local Subcontractors and Suppliers.
