Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Hurricane, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

In general, the work includes three bid items: 1) Sports Lighting upgrades to multiple facilities; 2) Grandstands and Prefabricated press boxes at multiple facilities; 3) Hurricane Football Field Press Box and associated Site work. The following facilities are included: Hurricane High School, Winfield High School, Poca High School, Buffalo High School, George Washington Middle School, Poca Middle School, and Winfield Middle, as well as any other work indicated in the Bidding Documents. Sealed bids are required. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days without the Owner's consent. All contractors and sub-contractors must use local labor in accordance with the "West Virginia Jobs Act." Contractors must be licensed in West Virginia with the license number included on all bids and contracts. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walks for all listed schools are required for all potential bidders. Electronic bidding documents are available upon payment of a non-refundable document access fee. Requests for information, substitution requests, and all correspondence must be submitted in writing to the Architect's administrative account.
