Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Hurricane, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed proposals are solicited for the Valley Park Parking Improvements project. The scope of work includes selective demolition of parking lot islands and curbs, construction of a new parking lot entrance and parking spaces, construction of a sidewalk segment, and all other improvements as identified in the plans and specifications. Bidders are instructed that a mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held, and all prime bidders must attend to familiarize themselves with the project location and site conditions. Technical questions must be submitted by email, and direct phone calls are prohibited. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract sum. General contractors must be licensed in the State of West Virginia and include their license number on the bid form, and all general contractors need to attach signed affidavits for a drug-free workplace and county purchasing policy. No bid may be withdrawn for 90 days after the bid closing. Question Deadline 04/16/2026 at 5:00 PM ET
