The City of Apalachicola will receive sealed bids from all qualified parties interested in the: LAFAYETTE PARK TREE PLANTING PROJECT This project consists of planting 34 native trees of 12 different species with a 60-day watering period in Lafayette Park. Bid documents may be found online at cityofapalachicola.com or by emailing brobinson@cityofapalachicola.com. The City anticipates proceeding quickly after considering the bids that it receives. In order to plant the trees during cool weather, to water them during a 60-day grow-in period, and to get them established before hot weather arrives, plan to plant the trees no later than February and to start the watering by end of that month. The City of Apalachicola is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Handicapped Accessible/Fair Housing Jurisdiction. The City of Apalachicola reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in their best interest. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to Bree Robinson by emailing brobinson@cityofapalachicola.com. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida.
