The City of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, acting through its Mayor and its Purchas-ing Agent, will receive sealed bids for: IFB #25-028 Security Camera Installations at Fire Stations & Parks There will not be a pre-bid conference for this project Purchase Description/Scope of Services Work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Fire Stations The Common Park The City of Pittsfield is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors to install security cameras at 4 Fire Stations and two Parks within the City. The City shall provide all cameras to be installed. No additional work, or changes in scope of work, will be performed by the successful bidder under the terms ofthis bid unless a signed Contract Change Order is duly authorized by the Purchasing Agent prior to the work being done. The City will not be responsible for any work done without a prior, signed change order. Section 1605 of the Recovery Act requires that all iron, steel and manufactured goods used in construction, alteration, repair, or maintenance of a public building or public work project assisted with funds under the Recovery Act must be produced in the United States. o Provide and install 2 OSP rated Cat 6 cables for 360-degree cameras. o Cat 6 cables shall be run back to the existing wall mounted racks. o Provide and install %" EMT on outside ofbuilding to each camera from existing data wall rack. o Install a weatherproof box and flex to each camera. o Install 2 - Avigilon 360-degree cameras (20C-H4A-4MH-360, one in front and one in back of each building. o Install 2 - Avigilon camera licenses. o Install all wall mount brackets for both cameras at each location o Aim, commission and test each camera. o Terminate all cables to existing patch panel. o Test all cables o Install one Avigilon Dome camera (6.0C-HAS-DO1 provided by City) on pole next to bathhouse. o Install camera and junction with straps to existing pole. o Tapping of existing consent 120-volt power at existing light pole to power camera. o Install one POE injector in junction box on existing light pole for camera. o Install one Avigilon Dome camera (6.0C-HAS-DO1 provided by City) on bathhouse for Mechanical room door. o Install %" EMT conduit down peak ofbathhouse for City's antenna for raceway into bathhouse. City ofPittsfield IFB #25-028 Security Camera Installations at Fire Stations & Parks o Install OSP Cat 6 cable from peak ofbathhouse to mechanical room wall. o Adjust and test cameras. Work under this contract shall begin on or before January 27, 2025 and be fully completed on or before February 28,2025. Bidders must submit, using the reference sheet supplied with this bid package, a complete list of all jobs performed in the past three (3) years that are similar in size and scope to this project, with contact names and telephone numbers. o Install one Avigilon Fisheye camera (8.0C-HAS-FE-DO1 provided by City) on front of building to cover both doors. o Tapping of existing consent 120-volt power in Mechanical room. o Install one POE injector in the Mechanical room. o Install 1 Vi" EMT conduit riser on back ofspray park restroom for City's antenna. o Install OPS Cat 6 cable from EMT conduit riser to Mechanical room back door. o Install one Avigilon Dome camera (4.0-H5A-DO2 provided by City) inside mechanical room. o Adjust and test camera The City of Pittsfield Purchasing Agent reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids shall be valid for 30 business days after the bid receipt date. Also reserved is the right to reject, for cause, any bid in part or whole, if it is judged by the Purchasing Agent that the best interests of the City will be served thereby. Wages are subject to the prevailing wage requirement of M.G.L. Chapter 149, 26-27F, inclusive.
