A. The work of this Contract is located in the City ofPittsfield, Massachusetts on Dean Place, Martin Street and King Street. B. Normal construction operation activity shall take place only between the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays unless otherwise noted. Work outside the above time periods will be permitted only on an emergency basis and only with the approval ofthe Owner. All cost ofwork outside the hours ofoperation will pay for soley by the contractor, including Owners resident and engineering services, police details and Owners required staff. The City of Pittsfield is seeking competitive bids from qualified Contractors for the replacement of a water main on King Street in Pittsfield. Work under this contract shall begin on or before April 1, 2025 and be fully completed on or before November 28, 2025. Technical specifications are attached hereto as Attachment A King Street Water Main Replacement Estimated Cost: $1,400,000.00 The City of Pittsfield Purchasing Agent Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informality in the Bidding. Bids Shall Be Valid for 30 Business Days After the Bid Receipt Date. Also Reserved is the Right to Reject, for Cause, Any Bid in Part or Whole, if It is Judged by the Purchasing Agent That the Best Interests of the City Will Be Served Thereby. Wages Are Subject to the Prevailing Wage Requirement of M.g.l. Chapter 149, 26-27f, Inclusive.
