The Town of East Haven is soliciting proposals from qualified entities to design/build the renovations to take place at Fire Station 4, Bradford Manor, located at 85 George Street, East Haven, CT 06512. The scope of work is to include a replacement kitchen floor due to water damage, isolated to sill plates, rotted floor joists and sheathing. It will also include installation of kitchen base cabinets and countertops. Please refer to Section III. Fire Station 4 Schematic Plan, for reference. It is the Town's intent to repair rotted floor joists due to water damage, sill plates in the affected area and sheathing. 1. The affected area is approximately 14' X 14' of floor space in the kitchen area, a sill plate against the outside wall and approximately 3 floor joists that will need to be sistered, and sheathing. 2. Replacement of (1) 12" base cabinet and (1) 36" sink base. 3. Replacement of approximately 18.5' linear feet of laminate countertop. 4. Maintenance free high-traffic floor covering installed throughout the kitchen.
