As of June 18, 2025, the project was awarded to GCUC, LLC, with an awarded amount of $16,283,416.52. The Town of Alford Septic to Sewer Project - Phase III - will consist of, but not be limited to 37,000 LF of 8" Sanitary Sewer, 2,600 LF of 12" Sanitary Sewer, 128 manholes, 5 Duplex Lift Stations with Emergency Bypass Pump Assemblies, Control Panels, 2 Duplex Grinder Lift Stations, 2,700 LF of 4" HDPE Sewer Force Mains, 4,000 LF of 6" HDPE Sewer Force Main with Directional Bores and air release valve assemblies, road paving, and other appurtenant components necessary for installation. The project also includes drainage and pavement improvements. Project Budget: $18,000,000 which is divided into three separate parts for bidding. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
