Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Eustis, Florida. Working plans call for the construction of a 5,185-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.

The Project will consist of a one story 5,185 square foot community and event center providing support to the Eustis Housing Authority residents. The community center will have a banquet area, a resident laundry room as well as office space. The purpose of selecting a Licensed General Contractor to supply all labor, material and ancillary services for the construction of a Community Cen-ter. The scope of this contract will be for both phases. Project requirements include, and Bidders are responsible to meet, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u. Bids will only be accepted from General Contractors who can provide the required bonds. A bid guarantee, such as a bid bond or certified check, for each bidder equivalent to five percent of the bid price is required and shall be made payable to the Eustis Housing Authority. All construction contracts or subcontracts over $100,000, let as a result of this Agreement shall include a performance bond for 100% of the contract price, and a payment bond for 100% of the contract price. All such bonds obtained must be from companies listed in Treasury Circular 570. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of 30 days.
