Pole Testing & Treatment Services Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the Form of a Bid Bond, Certified Bank or Treasurer's Check Made Payable to the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant, or Cash in the Amount of Five (5) Percent of the Total Value of the Bid. No Bidder May Withdraw Its Bid for a Period of Sixty Days, Excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays, After the Date of Opening Bids. Bids for the Inspection Evaluation, Testing, Treatment and Determination of Condition of Approximately 15,900 Standing Poles in the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant Service Area in Accordance With Contract Documents Prepared for Ifb24-26, Dated December 9,2024 the Work Includes Furnishing All Supervision, Labor, Tools, Approved Report Forms, Equipment, Transportation and Materials Necessary for the Inspection and Treatment of the Standing Wood Poles as Specified by the Tmlp. And is Subject to Prevailing Wage Laws. Attention is Directed to the Minimum Wage Rates to Be Paid as Determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development and the Weekly Payroll Record Submittal Requirements Under the Provisions of M.g.l. C. 149, 26 -27d Inclusive. the Contract Shall Be Awarded to the Lowest Responsible and Eligible Bidder on the Basis of Competitive Bids in Accordance With M.g.l. C. 30, 39m. the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant Commission, as the Awarding Authority, Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids as Well as the Right to Waive Minor Irregularities and Informalities in Any or All Bids, if in the Best Interest of the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant to Do So.
