Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Phoenix, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a development; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
All work shall be completed in accordance with the project specifications and drawings. The work includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all operations for the work specified. The Contractor shall be responsible for the layout survey, construction control, and establishing and maintaining all horizontal and vertical control . The project will require moving the existing vault toilet to a location within the project as identified on the drawings. Moving the vault toilet will include moving the housing, vault tank, and demolition of adjacent concrete around the existing vault toilet as marked by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). The hole left from the removal of the existing vault shall be backfilled with suitable backfill and compacted in accordance with the project specifications. Demolition of the existing pavement drives and parking will be . Entrance and exit pavement and curbing to remain intact as the new project will tie into them. The drawings will identify the exact tie-in points. All existing curbing and sidewalks will be removed in preparation for new layout. Some of the vegetation will need to be removed as well to accommodate the new layout. Coordination with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on the trees to be removed will be prior to the work commencing. The redevelopment of project will include 8 single family accessible picnic units. Each unit will have a concrete use pad, picnic table, and pedestal grill. Picnic units will be near parking along the riverbank and will have concrete pathways leading from the s to parking and toilet buildings. The sidewalks shall conform to accessibility requirements and the project specifications for construction and installation. A paved access road with curb and gutter and approximately 120 passenger vehicle parking spaces will be constructed to meet the goals of the project. The parking area will have vehicle barriers to define the roadway perimeter and guide the angled parking pattern. Facilities will include three dumpsters, two additional pre-cast concrete vault toilet buildings, and an information kiosk. Contracting Service Area #7, Southwest Zone has a requirement for Granite Reef Improvements on the Tonto National Forest. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237310 and size standard of 45M. The government intends to award one contract as a result of this solicitation. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. This is a Performance Price Trade-Off acquisition and award will be made based upon the best value to the government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The magnitude of proposed construction is between 500,000 and 1,000,000. The solicitation will be posted to the www.SAM.gov web on or about June 1, 2025. The estimated proposal due date is July 1, 2025. No response to this notice is necessary and all interested contractors should register on the Interested Vendors List on the www.SAM.gov web. Prospective contractors be registered in the SAM prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register will render their firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the government.
