Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary and incidental to the completion of the project known as Provide and Install Traffic Controller Cabinet Assemblies, according to plans and specifications in support of municipal services for the City of Sunnyvale , as further detailed in Attachment A, Scope of Work. Project is to be completed within a total maximum of two hundred and eighty-one (281) working days. Bidder shall submit bid security with the bid in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount (Base Bid plus Alternates, if any) and in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or surety bond issued by an admitted surety insurer authorized to conduct business in the State of California. The successful bidder shall furnish performance and payment (labor and materials) bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price (Base Bid plus Alternates, if any) and issued by an admitted surety insurer authorized to operate in the State of California. Contact with other City employees during the bid process is expressly prohibited without prior consent of the City's Buyer.
