Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
This project consists of constructing an interpretive cave and stone tower at the DNR Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds. The cave is meant to resemble the caves at Maquoketa Caves State Park and the tower will resemble the tower at Pilot Knob State Park. The cave will be a shotcrete structure and the tower will have an artificial concrete stone finish. There will be a colored & stamped concrete floor throughout. S Completion Date: 7/15/2025 The Work specified for accepted alternate bids, the materials and methods referenced in other sections to achieve specified work, and the coordination and modification of related work and surrounding construction to complete the project under each accepted bid.
