The TPAS includes installing fix-mounted fix-zoom HD cameras to detect the occupancy of the truck parking spaces at the rest area and provide the number of available spaces on a dynamic message sign (DMS) to notify truck drivers in advanced of the rest area. Other components of the TPAS also include a PTZ CCTV camera at the rest area, TPAS DMS signs, verification cameras, fiber optic communication, power service, conduit and pull box infrastructures Question Deadline 01/22/2025 at 5:00 PM Questions posted to this site will be responded to by the Department.
