Site work and paving for a road / highway in Grosse Ile, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Each proposal shall be submitted on the proposal forms provided and shall be accompanied by a certified check, Cashiers check, Money Order, or Bid Bond, executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, and drawn payable to the TOWNSHIP of GROSSE ILE in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the accompanying bid, as security for the proper execution of the Contract. Surety Company shall be licensed to conduct business in the State of Michigan. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate Performance, Labor and Material, and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All inquiries concerning the project should be directed to the C.E. Raines Company at telephone 734-285-7510. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its sole discretion, in whole or in part, for any reason or for no reason at all, to waive any informality/technicality in bids received, and to award the contract to any bidder, when such waiver is deemed to best serve the interest of the OWNER. A contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder as determined by the OWNER.
