The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified Fire Protection System installers, for the City of Davenport, Iowa (hereafter referred to as "City") to install a code-compliant fire alarm system with monitoring at the Freight House facility located at 401 W. River Drive, Davenport, Iowa 52801. The selection criteria listed within this RFP shall be used to measure how well each vendor has met the desired requirements and qualifications. Pricing, while an important factor, will be only one of many criteria used to evaluate the responses to the RFP. The award will be based on the evaluation of all selection criteria Questions regarding the RFP shall be submitted through the City of Davenport electronic submission system Answers to questions, if any, will be posted on the online system with the proposal documents by January 14, 2025 @ 1:00 PM CT. It is the vendors responsibility to review the answers provided. Question Deadline 01/10/2025 at 2:00 PM CT The City reserves the right to cancel the contract with 30 days written notice if performance of awarded vendor proves unsatisfactory or no longer necessary.
