Site work and paving for a civil project in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The proposed project officially known as Golden Acres Drainage Improvement includes constructing roadside ditches, driveway culverts, and storm sewers along Queen Ann Court, Ridgelawn Place, Edgewood Drive, and Greenwood Place. The work includes the construction of three new 15" storm sewer outfalls with stilling basins constructed of gabion baskets. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. Prime Contractors have an obligation to make a good faith effort to advance the City's commitment to increase diversity among the firms working on City construction projects. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
