Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Bedford, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.

All work under this contract shall be done in conformance with the State of New Hampshire Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges including Supplemental Specifications, unless otherwise noted. All Contractors proposing to bid on this project shall be on the NHDOT pre-qualified list for bridge and roadway construction. A bid bond for the sum of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Town of Bedford, must accompany the bid, as a guarantee that the contract will be entered into, if awarded. The bid bond surety must be a corporate surety company licensed to sign surety bonds in the State of New Hampshire. The right is reserved to reject any and or all bids, in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total bid, and to waive informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Bedford. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and are encouraged to do so. The Town of Bedford is an Affirmative Action/E.O.E. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Owner. Any inquiry received five (5) or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids will be given consideration.
