Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a 69,000-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.
This is a new construction project on an existing site. The proposed project consists of constructing a new 69,000-square-foot building comprising public works and dispatch administrative areas, a public works garage, and a maintenance area. The project also includes demolishing existing buildings and reconfiguring the site to accommodate the new work. Some existing buildings, cell towers, and associated utilities must remain. Extensive stormwater improvements are necessary as part of the proposed project. Question Deadline 01/15/2025 Questions must be submitted electronically to Gary Gudino at ggudino@oaklawn-il.gov Answers to submitted questions will be shared with all parties who have submitted a Letter of Interest. Request for Qualifications - General Contractors and Letter of Interest Request and Prequalification to Bid - Construction ("RFQ") of a new Village Public Works Facility and Dispatch Center. Complete general contracting services only are sought. Subcontractors or suppliers interested in providing services for materials or materials for portions of the work will not be considered at this time.
