This is a Public Works Contract. Contractor License A or C13. Required License: A current, active and unrestricted General contractor (A) General Engineering Contractor or (C-13) Fencing Contractor. 6% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise has been WAIVED, is highly encourage Contract Term: Notice to Proceed (NTP) to March 31, 2025. Upon award and written Authorization to Commence Work, the contractor will have until March 31, 2025 to complete the fencing replacement. Work schedule for this project shall be 0800-1630, Monday through Friday, Excluding Holidays. Question Deadline 01/09/2025 at 3:00 PM PT Questions: Concerning this project must be submitted in writing (using company letterhead and email address) , via email to John.ota@parks.ca.gov, to the attention of John Ota. The State's Representative will respond in writing to all written questions by close of business, 01/13/2025. Performance Term: The contractor understands the project is scheduled to be completed by March 31, 2025, from NTP. This time includes Ten (10) calendar days allowed for the contractor to begin work. Should performance not be completed by the Performance Term due to unforeseen circumstances or conditions then it will be to the State's discretion to allow performance to continue toward the Contract Term Agreement. Contractor understands that the State's authorization to continue work beyond the Performance Term shall not or be a reason to affect the value of this agreement. DVBE Participation has been Waived. DIR and Performance & Payment Bonds will be required on this contract. Bond requirements for contracts exceeding $5,000 are stated in the General Conditions, DPR 483, Section 00700. The Department of Parks and Recreation reserves the right to waive any irregularity in a bid or to reject any or all bids.
