Site work and paving for a civil project in Saugus, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project is expected to be awarded on next week. Ballard St & Central St Water Main Project. removal of existing 12-inch cast iron on Ballard St and replacement of 360 linear feet ductile iron pipe removal of existing 10-inch cast iron water main on Central St. Replacement of 370 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron pipe. The work at both areas includes bypass piping, new valves, hydrants, hydrant branches, appurtenances, water service replacements with copper tubing, trench paving All services, delivery, and other required support shall be conducted in Saugus and other locations designated by the Department point of contact. Meetings between the Vendor and Town personnel shall be held at the Town of Saugus, Massachusetts, unless otherwise specified. The Town shall pay and the Contractor receive, as full compensation for providing and doing everything necessary to prepare for and perform all the work required by the contract, the price(s) stated in the bid. Invoicing should be done on a monthly basis no more than 12 payments per budget. Extra work should be billed separately. Payment for emergencies, etc., shall be made within thirty days after the conclusion of the work. Invoices, listing the date and place of services, shall be submitted to the Public Works Director and subject to his review and approval. Installation of 6, 8, 10 and 12-inch water main in BALLARD STREET AND CENTRAL STREET including portions of water main abandonment and replacement, replacement of services, hydrants, valves and tie-in to different water main and other appurtenances work.
