Coconino County, Arizona, is seeking proposals from experienced consulting firms to develop a comprehensive, FEMA-approved Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (MJHMP) that will serve the entire county and its municipalities. The goal of this plan is to enhance disaster resilience, reduce potential losses, and protect human life, property, and the environment from natural and human-made hazards. The selected consultant will work with Coconino County and other local stakeholders to update the existing plan to comply with FEMA requirements and ensure all jurisdictions within Coconino County are eligible for FEMA mitigation grant funding. This plan will include the jurisdictions of Coconino County, City of Flagstaff, City of Williams, City of Page, City of Sedona, Town of Tusayan, Town of Fredonia, and Northern Arizona University. However, all proposals may be rejected if the Board of Supervisors determines that rejection is in the public interest. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
