The scope of work consists of the installation of all materials to be furnished under Sections 26.00.00 and 28.00.00 all inclusive, and without limiting the generality thereof, consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, plant, transportation, rigging, staging up to 8 feet, appurtenances, and services necessary and/or incidental to properly complete all work as shown on the fire alarm drawings, as described in the Specifications, or as reasonably inferred from either, in the opinion of the engineer. 1. Development 667-2: Demolish and replace existing Notifier System 5000 fire alarm control panel and all other devices supported by the panel with a new fire alarm system by Silent Knight or approved equal. Existing fire alarm devices to remain fully operational throughout construction. Only demolish and replace the existing system once the new system is fully operational. Provide new Silent Knight #6820 (1,110-point addressable fire alarm panel), with three (3) SLC loop expanders (#6815). See reference drawings for new fire alarm device layout. The project consists of, but is not limited to: upgrading the fire alarm system for this fully sprinklered hi-rise building with an addressable system compliant with current code requirements.
