Site work and paving for a civil project in Martinsville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Location Morgan County, IN The work to be performed and the proposals to be submitted shall include a bid for all general construction, labor, material, tools, equipment, taxes, permits, licenses, insurance, service costs, etc. incidental to and required for this project. The proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable Bidder's Bond, made payable to Morgan County, in a sum of not less than ten percent of the total amount of the proposal, which check or bond will be held by the said Morgan County as evidence that the bidder will, if awarded a contract, enter into the same with the OWNER upon notification from him to do so within ten days of said notification. Failure to execute the contract and to furnish performance bond to Morgan County, will be cause for forfeiture of the amount of money represented by the certified check, or bidder's bond, as and for liquidated damages. Form 96, as prescribed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts, shall be properly completed, and submitted with bid proposals. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price within ten (10) days after award of contract and a two (2) year Maintenance Bond in the amount of twenty percent (20%) of the contract price prior to completion and final payment of the contract. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities or irregularities therein, to delete any item or items and to award a contract on the proposal that in their judgment is the most advantageous to Morgan County.
