The University seeking to purchase (2) 6" and (6) 8" control valves and associated actuators to replace existing Fisher control valves at High Temperature Hot Water Generators 1, 2, 3 & 4 located at the University at Albany central heating plant. New valves can be Fisher or Warren valves that match the existing valves. Nameplate information on the valves and pictures of nameplates are provided at the end of the bid document. Technical specifications are outlined further in the document. Should a bidder propose a different manufacturer's product for any portion of this bid not mentioned in the technical specification, it is the responsibility of the bidder to include ALL necessary supporting documentation to prove without a doubt that its proposed products meet or exceed the specifications outlined including all performance, sizing, footprint requirements, etc. The designated contact for this procurement is David VanVranken and he may be emailed at dvanvranken@albany.edu.
