Project Limits: Oxford Drive at Riverside Drive. The Oxford Drive Improvements are intended to reduce or eliminate the longstanding speeding issues along Riverside Drive. Since 2014 staff has been responding to residents’ concerns about high volumes and speeds of cut-through traffic from Riverside Drive. The present geometry of the intersection of Oxford Drive at Riverside Drive allows drivers to comfortably turn onto Oxford Drive, a 25mph street, while maintaining high speeds. As of January 3, 2025, this project is included in the City's 2025-2034 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and funding is allotted for FY 2028. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
