Renovation of a medical facility in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This Request for Tender is being issued by the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) as it is seeking tenders from qualified Respondents to complete the replacement of the flooring. The flooring replacement is necessary due to its deteriorating condition. The flooring replacement scope is anticipated to include, but is not limited to, supply and install of sheet flooring on the 6th floor for the replacement of the existing carpet, to be executed in multiple phases (Phases 1 to 5). New flooring replacement with Tarkett Optima, heat welded seams and new 6” rubber base. To provide necessary transitions or thresholds where necessary between new and existing flooring. To include (ARDEX P 4 or similar) primer coat and skim coat to encapsulate asphalt adhesive. Removal of the existing flooring or moving of furniture will be performed by others. Should additional funds be available within the budget, the project may look at other areas of RJH in need of flooring replacement.
