The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia wishes to retain the services of a general contractor to install security enhancements for vehicular access to the Legislative Precinct along Menzies Street. The scope for this project consists of the following: 1. Survey of the existing conditions of the location to record layout, dimensions, and elevation. Arrange permits as may be required (building permit is not required). 2. Remove soil as needed and dispose as appropriate, see Appendix G1 Soil Testing Report. 3. Install a drainage system, including a trench drain. 4. Organize and complete roll test, concrete testing and other testing, as required. 5. Supply and install new top and base gravel materials. 6. Removal and reinstall of existing decorative lights, including a new light base. 7. Removal and reinstall of existing signage, including new footings. 8. Supply and install new EV chargers 9. Remove current gate infrastructure by the Armouries vehicle entrance and supply and install new gates 10. Supply and install CIP concrete paving and CIP concrete driveway letdown. 11. Complete a survey of the as-constructed conditions and produce as-built drawings 12. Supply and install new stone paving using Owner reclaimed stone. 13. Supply and install asphaltic concrete paving. 14. Supply and install sod and plant materials. 15. Supply and install an irrigation system, integrating the new system into the existing irrigation system, including control wire. 16. Complete electrical enhancements
