**As of February 7, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Project Description: Project will consist of the following sections: 1. Adding mechanical cooling to the building. 2. Provide new air-cooled chiller outside, distribution pumps and piping inside the Dome 3. Retrofit the (5) existing air-handling units with cooling coils, new motors, and VFD's. 4. Update building temperature control system. 5. Replace the existing electrical transformer and modify the existing service. 6. Miscellaneous general construction, site landscaping/irrigation and concrete. Project Completion Date: The project completion shall be coordinate at the preconstruction conference. All work in occupied spaces must be completed by August 10th, 2025 extension of time in mechanical rooms and on exterior of the building is possible. Work in mechanical rooms and outside at chiller may be scheduled for completion at the kick-off meeting. All questions must be received 1 day prior to bid opening. Security will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. The bid security will be retained by the Owner as liquidated damages if the successful bidder refuses or fails to enter into a contract within ten (10) days after same is let to him, or fails at the time of contract execution to furnish all post-bid submittals including bonds covering the faithful performance of the contract and payment of all obligations arising hereunder. Sheridan College of Sheridan County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality, and is not bound by the lowest bid, but the bid determined by the College to be in the best interest of the College. Submission of a bid constitutes agreement to these terms.
