ADA compliant parking lot. The address of construction is 100 Whipkey Dr, Big Spring, TX 79720. The parking lot will measure approximately 24,000 square feet. All bids must be submitted on the form provided by the City and further must be properly executed in the space(s) provided. The Proposer will be responsible for the following: - Awarded contractor will prime existing base with CSS-1H. - Awarded contractor will provide and place 2” compacted type D asphalt. - Awarded contractor will stripe City designated areas with commercial grade traffic paint including ADA and parking lines. - Awarded contractor will provide and place 5 post mounted ADA signs in/on designated ADA areas. - Awarded contractor will provide and place 5 concrete wheel stop barriers in city designated areas. - Awarded contractor will provide 1 year warranty on services rendered. Question Deadline 01/17/2025 at 5:00 PM CT Performance Bond – Not required if the bid amount is less than $100,000. Payment Bond- Not required if the bid amount is less than $50,000. Lump sum bids will be considered only if unit prices are quoted also. However, the totals of such quoted unit prices and the lump sum bids will not be considered if the price quoted also involves prices of commodities requested on an entirely separate bid request. The City reserves the right to request documentation showing the authority of the individual signing the bid to execute contracts on behalf of anyone, or any corporation, other than himself/herself. Refusal to provide such information upon request may cause the bid to be rejected as non-responsive.
