Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Belleville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
It is the intent of these instructions to provide for the demolition and site clearance of identified structures. Above items 1-6 must all be submitted in the sealed envelope as per instructions. Any questions should be directed to Scott Tyler at (618) 233-6810, Ext. 4240 or styler@belleville.net The City of Belleville reserves the right to waive any informality or technicality and to reject any or all bids. Contractors that are on the City of Belleville contractor suspension list will not be allowed to bid. (Allow ten days for review). All work must be done in accordance with all City of Belleville Ordinances. Bidders will be required to comply with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.), the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/0.01 et seq.), and Public Act 96-1064 - Business Enterprise Program. Per City of Belleville Ordinance, the successful bidder will be required to execute a Project Labor Agreement with the Southwestern Illinois Building Trades Council for this project.
