The work will be let under one Contract if award should be made; and the Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner. The principal items of work to be performed under this Contract are outlined herein below: This project will generally consist of the sealing, waterproofing, and structurally reinforcing of approximately1,000 VF of 4-foot and 150VF of 5-foot diameter sanitary sewer manholes utilizing as pin-cast or hands prayed/applied Geopolymer Liner. Also, this project consists of the restoration of approximately 142 existing sanitary sewer manhole benches and inverts along with the installation of approximately 20 internal drop bowl assemblies and the use of chemical injection grouting when needed. The location ofthe work will be at various locations within the City ofDecatur. The Owner will provide access to the work site or sites. All bidders must complete and submit a Decatur Utilities Bidder Application by 4 p.m., January 23rd, 2025 in order to be reviewed and approved for bidding. A Bid Bond or cashier's check in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid (but not more than $10,000) must accompany each proposal. The payee of such bond or cashier's check shall be Municipal Utilities Board of Decatur, Morgan County ,Alabama. The Bid Bond or cashier's check shall bear the same date as that set for receipt of bids.
