Site work for a water / sewer project in Decatur, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The principal items of work to be performed under this Contract are outlined herein below: This project will generally consist of the sealing, waterproofing, and structurally reinforcing of approximately 1,000 VF of 4-foot and 150 VF of 5-foot diameter sanitary sewer manholes utilizing a spin-cast or hand sprayed/applied Geopolymer Liner. Also, this project consists of the restoration of approximately 142 existing sanitary sewer manhole benches and inverts along with the installation of approximately 20 internal drop-bowl assemblies and the use of chemical injection grouting when needed. For information about contract documents and vendor qualification forms, contact Jon Aldridge (256) 552-1474. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of bids has passed. The Owner reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of up to ninety (90) days after the date of receipt of bids. A Bid Bond or cashier's check in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid (but not more than $10,000) must accompany each proposal. The payee of such bond or cashier's check shall be Municipal Utilities Board of Decatur, Morgan County, Alabama. The Bid Bond or cashier's check shall bear the same date as that set for receipt of bids.
