** As of 2/10/2025 project has been awwarded to Bull-G Construction, LLC with $ 711,289.80.** Furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for the construction for the City of Pinehurst Tropical Storm Imelda CDBG-DR Sewer Facilities (Collection System) Project No. 2 . Any bids received after closing time will NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids are invited for several items and quantity of work as follows, Rehabilitate approximately 3,190 linear feet of 6" sanitary sewer line, 4,780 linear feet of 8" sanitary sewer line, 1,695 linear feet of 10" sanitary sewer line and 560 l linear feet of 15" sanitary sewer line by pipe bursting, including removal and replacement of 22 sanitary sewer manholes, installation of 6 new sanitary sewer manholes, remove and replace 3 EOLs with new fiberglass manholes, remove and replace 3 end of line cleanouts with new fiberglass manholes, remove and replace 2 end of line cleanouts with new cleanouts, rehabilitation of all associated service connections, and appurtenances, all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and testing. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Pinehurst or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the U.S. Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. Pre-Bid Conference will NOT be held on this project. All questions shall be received through online or in writing via email to nbarroeta@spi-eng.com and addressed by Addendum. Questions will be received until Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 5:00 PM, CST. Questions submitted after this time & date may not be answered. The City of Pinehurst reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Pinehurst for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project.
