As of February 17, 2025 this project has not yet been awarded. Project is expected to be awarded at the beginning of March. The project includes but is not limited to the replacement of the existing flooring (carpet tile) in the main circulation area of the terminal concourse with a hard surface flooring material, either terrazzo or tile. The work will also include the removal of the existing flooring, floor preparation, the installation of new flooring transitions and/or modification of existing flooring transitions, and installation of new flooring. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashiers or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent(5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the Owner, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within ten(10) days after notice of award of Contract to him. Such bid guarantee shall be made payable to Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds in accordance with the contract documents . A Commission goal of 18% has been set to promote diverse business participation for this contract. All bidders and proposers shall make good faith efforts, as defined by Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26, Regulations of the Office of the Secretary of Transportation, to subcontract a minimum of eighteen percent (18%) of the dollar value of the prime contract to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The Little Rock Airport Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids and/or bidding process deemed to be in the best interest of the Commission and to reject non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional bids. Bids shall remain in effect 90 days after the bid opening date.
